So I work in a position that allows you to work from home if you want to, after a year and a half with my company I finally took the opprotunity to work from the comfort of my own home office and i cant believe I didn’t want to do this sooner. Its great! If your company allows you to do it take it

I can do this anytime too and love it. Binge on streaming while answering emails and writing docs in my pjs.

I can work from home if I wish, but find I’m not as productive. I start a report, then start on laundry, or yard work, etc.

I work fully remote.
This is a very good thing because if I was in the office I would make it about 3 days before literally chewing someone’s head off. YES LITERALLY.

My position affords me the opportunity to work from essentially anywhere but home—the office, airplanes, hotels, airport bars, other people’s offices, vacation —unless I’m in my hometown but working late at night, in which case, yes, I can usually work from home. I forget what my point was.

i was fine, then they moved my desk next to one of the most obnoxious women in the entire office, whose lisp is so bad she couldnt say anything with a “TH” so i was finally like nope time for me to work from home

I worked from home at one point a two jobs ago but didn’t really like it. I get cabin fever easily, and I need to be busy.
I never had enough to do to keep me so busy that I couldn’t do other things. I know that sounds like a good thing, but I would go skateboarding, or surfing, play golf, get stoned... I know still sounds great... but then I’d get a call and have to do something like run a payroll or talk to some asshole for 30 minutes. So I never felt like I had a productive day, and I was never able to fully enjoy fucking off.
At my current position I’m in the office all day, but I leave every day feeling accomplished and completely unplug once I’ve left.

I’m pretty much the only employee that has to be in the office every day. Everyone else works from home more often than not. I’ve been able to do it a few times when I had things come up but other than that I’m always here. And they still won’t give me one of the of fices with a window.

Every time I’ve ever worked remotely I felt I had to prove I wasn’t being a slacker so I end up doing twice as much work as if I went in to begin with. I'm certainly more productive, but I wouldn't call it relaxing really.
